Now ask how much money they spent on the girls soccer state championship. Or on baseball/softball. Or why wrestling, which has like 10 teams from the North, has to do their state event in Bossier.
how much do they need to spend? Rent a venue and make trophies.

Wrestling maybe should be in Bossier bc North LA needs to host state in something

Football- NOLA
Basketball- Lake Charles and Alexandria
Volleyball- Kenner
Baseball/Softball- Sulphur
Track- BR
Soccer- Lafayette

You're looking at it from the fan's point of view, not the player's point of view. Playing in the fancy SuperDome is a nice reward for the great season those players had.

I’ve been on a team that played in the dome (I was a FR). I get what you’re saying though. I would just personally prefer the small town, big game atmosphere. Possibly because I’ve been in the superdome about 100 times in my life. It’s subjective I guess

in high school football you get that a few times a year... maybe a big regular season game or two, and of course if you host in the state playoffs
