Really looking forward to the rivalry game tonight. Would suck if we beat them and then lost in the championship game. Similar to the 2010 Olympics where we beat them and then lost to them in the Gold Medal game in OT

With only a limited window, they went with 4. I believe in 3 year, there will be a full World Cup as there used to be.

From here on out it will be the Olympics and Workd Cup rotating every 2 years With the NHL players… which is what has been missing. People want to see the stars and names they recognize.
We already have the world juniors every year to showcase the up and coming talent.

The speed of the game tonight is going to be warp speed. For people that regularly watch the NHL, it is so fun to watch the skill every single player has. Nearly every time down the ice something really cool happens

This is probably the best US team ever. And Canada obviously always has a great team. The fact that NHL guys haven't always played recently and before, I'd say that's a very fair assessment.

Agreed. This is the best US team, from top to bottom, I've ever seen.
It's also insane to me that Canada's goaltending is as weak as it is. The days of an army of French Canadian goaltenders wanting to be Roy or Brodeur (as ugly as he was to watch) are over.
