If WVU pulls this off, there won't be any undefeated teams remaining in the Big 12. Does the winner go to the playoff regardless?

I don't see why not. Its clear cut the 2nd best league in the country.

Only if FSU doesn't qualify. Otherwise, I think you get SEC, FSU, and 2 of 3 out of Pac/B1G/SEC 2.

Baylor 10 penalties already in the first half. When West Virginia gets called for a controversial penalty in the second half people will claim big 12 conspiracy

Eta: I said TCU

A one loss Big 12 team not named Baylor will get in, especially over a 1-loss Big 10 team

Maybe. I would be surprised if the winner of Big 12 was passed over for the winner of the B1G or the SEC runner up.

I'd imagine if FSU goes undefeated and Oklahoma State wins out, they go. Likewise for KSU/Auburn.

No championship game could hurt the Big 12.

How does no championship game help strength of schedule? It takes another game against a very good team off the calendar.
