My sacred heart, 2003 divisional runner up 8th grade team helped return the SHS basketball glory days after a 3 year decline. We stored the tradition and let a trail for other teams to follow.

Philip Rays 2003 8th grade, elite 8 championship team was one of the best to ever cut down the net at CHS.

I saw that team. There have been much better teams. They were down at the break to St. George in the championship. The STM 96 team had Adam Foy, Dale Almond and others. The 97 St. George team went 82-0 in 3 years of play. The 98 St. George team a year later went 73-3 in 3 years of play. That Phillip Ray team doesnt come close to any of those 3. The STM team in 2004 i believe was very impressive as well.
