Racing is going to hit so different this weekend.
Kyle was on Sean Hannity’s Hang Out show two weeks ago. It’s well worth the watch.

Yeah, I know it’s going to be really emotional at Charlotte this weekend. Everyone will push on because they have to and because Kyle would want them to, but it’s going to be very difficult I’m sure.

That #18 M&Ms Toyota is one of the most iconic NASCAR paint schemes of all time.

Think of all of his young fans who grew up watching him drive that car that just lost their favorite driver.

Your username is appropriate. Felt like I got hit by a sledgehammer when I got the news.

Ill post it here too because we watched Brad and Kyle fight with each other for the last 20 years - "Tonight, I feel like the coyote with no more roadrunner to chase."

Remember in 2009 when Brad came out at Bristol and said “Kyle Busch is an arse.” Those two had an awesome rivalry for a good while.

Those two never got along, but neither one could deny the other had chops. Made for a great rivalry.

Just tragic news still trying to digest it. I just watched him win a race last week. And his cup team appeared to be on the mend with recent CC change. And his son was doing lots of racing in junior ranks. Damn

That NASCAR Netflix program showed a side of Kyle Busch apart from the racetrack that not a lot of people see. That guy really loved his family and his family loved him back.

That show gave us Kyle, we already knew Rowdy

I’ve read reports that he become unresponsive in the simulator and was rushed to the hospital

I highly recommend everyone read the tribute that Austin Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress and Kyle’s teammate, just posted on Instagram. It’s tremendous.

RCR electing to not run the #8 this weekend, but will instead switch to the #33 for the rest of the season.

Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.

Truck practice and qualifying canceled because the rain began pouring down shortly before they were to take the track. Sadly appropriate.

Are they going to be able to race tonight with the weather?
