Dude, a simple freaking google search proves you wrong. It’s laughable. This was developed in the 60’s. NASCAR was not remotely a nationally televised event at that time. To say they invented it is beyond ridiculous

I could ask you the same, dumbass

You’re the one who made the initial claim that nascar came up with it

You have yet to prove me wrong because I’m right. It was done to mask less fans and make look like more. Thats a fact. And unless you can find another sport who painted seats to make it look like more fans you are a troublemaker who came here trying to get your gotcha points.

I believe it was Methfield who even made a public comment about it.

Prove me wrong or go frick off I don’t really care.

And you have yet to prove yourself right. I don’t have to prove you wrong. This was being done in multiple stadiums in the sixties. When the Superdome was built they installed multi colored seats to have the stadium seats look filled. This was in the early 70’s. And you think that nascar invented this in the 90’s. like I said a simple google search would have shown this to be true. Clown

2 references:

“Seat Design in the Superdome
Purpose of the Design
The multicolored seating was designed to enhance the overall aesthetic of the stadium.
This arrangement contributed to the vibrant atmosphere during events, making the venue feel more lively.”

“Colored seats in large venues like the Superdome create an immersive visual landscape that enhances fan engagement and fosters a sense of collective identity. They can also influence the perceived depth of the space and help define different seating areas, contributing to the overall atmosphere of the event.”

It was done for looks not to mask low attendance idiot. They didn’t build it with any intentions of masking low attendance rather to enhance the experience compared to other bland stadiums. It fit the New Orleans culture to have colored seats.

Try again asshat. Or just go away wagging your tail from the loss. Why you even came to thread is beyond me, just to stir shite up. You started the name calling and now lost the argument. frick outta here

Come in man, you know the Superdome only had multiple colored seats to make it look better, but NASCAR did it to make it look like the stands had more fans

Nascar built tracks with one color seats. They changed seats to multi color alternating seats solely to mask bad attendance.

NO built their stadium with multicolor for visual appeal (I posted the docs). Then revisionist history said it was due to low attendance “after the fact”. That was a convenient story when attendance went down but was not original intent of build. They didn’t spend any new money on colored seats when attendance went down.

Anyone can see the difference. But Nascar 100% made alternating color seats to mask bad attendance at tracks where it used to be full.

Rain chances higher. I read any rain would be short lived showers not anything sitting for hours.
