This race has run its course. Only 70k fans yesterday from what I read and thats being generous I think.

Indy Cup race had 27 laps run under caution, for a total of 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 31 seconds

Some say to shorten races (less laps). But thats not the problem its those fricking stage advertisement breaks!! Race lengths are fine if you take out stages

They have to do something with the aero. I think this track and Pocono need to have totally different packages.

The shitty car problems are just highlighted on the 2 tracks you mentioned. But the problems exist at almost every track. Even Daytona and Dega suck now compared to how they used to race. Atlanta is the only good track they race great on.

Also to add, Nascar had a shitty weekend because the truck race was just as bad at IRP. Nascars just suck at Indy period lol. What a bad way to start a 2 week break for all 3 series. All I see online is complaint after complaint. The race yesterday broke a lot of fans, even the holdouts are complaining

Thank you Carson for going against the grain and voicing your opinion. If more drivers spoke up especially to the media, maybe NASCAR would be forced to change.
There’s something special about watching those early 2000s races when NASCAR was peaking. It’s sad comparing the energy and excitement today compared to back then.

Nascar took the engineering away from teams. Think of it like DEI or participation awards. They want everyone to be competitive and the same. And you get little racing.
Even back in 2000’s draft racing was still good as cars were not as bunched up tight. They could still make moves even if back in 15th.
