Hocavar took 4 tires vs those ahead 2. He restarted 9th and finished 9th.
Thats a major problem when not even tires help.
It was a parade all day long. Only excitement was bird flipping and backmarkers wrecking drivers

Indycar can pass at Indy. NASCAR has to figure out something.

Nascar letting Toyota take over the series is going to end bad. Throw in bad racing. Every friend I have who follows Nascar thinks they made a backroom deal at court. Whether they did or not doesn’t matter because thats the consensus which matters to fans.
Gibbs in 4th point standings is the tell. He has won 1 race in what, 4 years? Yet is still able to get to 4th in standings. Heim has more wins as part timer than Gibbs in 4 years. Heim is a good driver and showed the advantages Toyota has.
This race really hurts Nascar as they don’t race for 2 weeks and all fans will remember is this damn parade. Once we get into Aug fans start shifting to football with camps for both NFL and CFB starting up.
To go from an Atlanta type race to Indy is such a drop off. They need to send all these cars to the crusher and use production cars that would more exciting

This car is killing the sport. Atlanta is about the only track that produces quality racing.

What does this win say about Wallace. Reddick doing great and has since arrival. Now a part timer wins his 2nd race. And Wallace wasting a seat someone else could have.
I bet ratings are low. Might get a decent number to start without much of any sports competition but those long yellows for sure had a lot of channel changing going on.

You know this makes him angry. I hope his anger results in more mistakes resulting in poorer finishes. He’ll have a good race then the next he’s nonexistent. I’d say give fricking Zilich or a rising NOAPS driver a shot, but Ryan Clark would say replacing him is racist.
