At least NASCAR hasn’t gone hybrid, yet

Cole makes a damn good point.
Another note, they get zero practice time. Which Nascar loves because that will likely lead to more carnage since drivers have no way to know how it handles in a pack.
They keep tripping over their own feet. It amazes me how they fumble the football so often. I’m glad they are trying something, my disdain for Nascar is well known. So kudos. But then reducing HP when it needs increased. And no practice.
Owners likely just write plate track cars off before season. 2-4 cars lost in plate racing is likely $1m expense but can use a few parts depending on wreck.
We’ll see how it goes but no practice with major changes is criminal.

It might be like those days when you had 2 car tandem racing?
Lord I hope not. I hated that style of racing. It effectively cut the field in half by turning two cars into one unit.
This car has too much down force and not enough power. Take that pan off the bottom and give them some HP. I want to see them actually drive these things.

Speaking of Front Row, this week on the DJD podcast Noah Gragson hinted at being on his best behavior to get a job next year. He’s not staying at Front Row so I wonder where he goes?

Well he cooked his own goose. He has done nothing but start trouble and will find it hard to find a team/sponsor.

2026 Jun. he hurt his team by hanging back to dust up with Mags. Dumb

Yeah, he’s definitely a hot head, but he has brought some fireworks to NASCAR. Let boys be boys is where I stand in that.
Briscoe asked him why he didn’t punch Mags and that’s when he said what I posted. I doubt he’s going to RCR, but I could see him at Kaulig. I thought I saw something about Kaulig letting Ty Dillon go

Ughh this race is in the middle of the day tomorrow. There’s something special about Friday night truck races. Is the Cars tour tonight or something?

I could see Kaulig picking up Noah with the connections he has. But he’s also loud and obnoxious, which fits the bill if Dana White is involved. Noah isn’t my favorite, but he really hasn’t had much of a steady ride at this point. Could be a guy to help bring Dodge back in.

I hate that NASCAR is always taking horsepower away. You make some valid points.
It's already a slug in a pack, lets make it even slower
