I like Baku.
I thought it looked like a shite Miami/Singapore.

We have a week off before Baku. Remember it will be a Saturday race. They moved it to not interfere with Azerbaijan’s Remembrance Day.

He is Spanish? They paid him to promote the race? He wants to expand F1 in Spain?

They will likely make some changes. A lot of new tracks do.

Something interesting that has been building steam, Lando testing Mclaren's Le Mans car.
Mclaren is entering WEC in the hypercar capacity starting 2027. Lando has run the 24hrs of Daytona in the past (2018) with Alonso under Zak Brown's United Autosports team.

I didn't realize Lando did any endurance racing.

It was before his f1 drive was full time. He did a lot of Karting still in his early career as well. Runs a Karting team now.
There is also a story of him running Nurburgring during covid under an alias. Probably for a multitude of reasons
