I missed FP1 and FP2. Can't tell from the results if any driver or any team is trending towards Sunday dominance. For those who watched the practices, are you getting any good vibes from any driver or team?

It drives the clicks.

F1 fans are known for complaining about the cars, the competition, the dominance, the circus, the pay drivers, etc etc etc.

Yet they still tune in and watch every week.

This is true but this season we are seeing the drivers openly complaining about it also. I don’t care much for these cars but the actual races have been entertaining so far and I think they will get it fixed, just can’t do it immediately.

I love the smaller more nimble cars with less down force

I hate the power units

Last year they complained they couldn't pass this year they complain they pass too much.

We just want v10's that hug the track but don't make bad air for the car behind them but also allows for passing but you can't do it while having an advantage like more horsepower or engine modes and bring back grid girls because I really care about the purity of the cars racing on track.

The F2 sprint race really tested the tires

They ended the race on a one lap sprint after a one car crash. The way Silverstone should have ended

It’s really weird that F2, much like NOAP, is more fun to watch than the top series

Montoya dropped from the pole to out of the points

Tsolov made some nice moves
Durksen was very impressive with the win

Herta rode around in 13th most of the day

I wonder if Kimi would win a single Q3 with Max in the same car. The car would practically be maxed out at that point.

Feels bad for Norris dude just isn't having this season go his way. Constantly fighting mechanical problems.

Seems like McLaren is taking a step forward though at least.
