What a strange SQ3.
Ferrari pulled something together, Lewis has some connection with this track. Kimi will get some experience tomorrow with Lewis and Max surrounding him.

Nobody besides Damon Hill predicted Ferrari would be on Pole.
Hard to believe but I’ll take it.

I considered Ham as my number 1 bc he always seems to perform at Silverstone, but thought the Mercs would have the advantage.
Looks like nobody took Ham number 1 in pick em

When I pick Ferrari they have terrible weekends, when I finally move on and pick someone else they put it together and have an insane weekend. It’s the sprint quali but Hamilton and Antonelli were in a league of their own.

I have faith in both cars and drivers. I don't have faith in Ferrari. Sprint and Quali won't be a good litmus for the race because there's minimal strategy.

21 GT500
Just cleaned it up to celebrate merica with 800 American v8 horsepower.
And I waxed a Ferrari on I10 going to Best Stop.

Yeah it’s really more at home on a big track like COTA than anything else. Big brakes and big power. I’m going to hit the last HPDE Cota events in the fall before it goes private then I’ll be stuck with MSR until I buy a trailer to go farther.

Saw formula e is running cota next year. (Short track)
The 4th gen FE cars seem pretty amazing
Accelerate faster than an F1 car, 208 top speed.

quote:Very nice. Ended up switching from motorcycles (Triumph fanboy with the whole 675R bullet proof platform) to cars because of all the idiots (and deer) on public back roads. That and track day costs/lowsides are a money pit that would prevent anyone from retiring.

Ended up with an Acura Integra Type S that I affectionately call my truck. Corners like a train and hauls mountain bikes with the back seats down easily without that immature big wing seen on Civic Type Rs.
Cars can be a real contagious bug, just wish you could get racetrack levels of performance in a package that is as cheap as a motorcycle, especially considering legal issues and safety.
Appreciate cars while they last because the hybrid and electric era will ruin them. Even motorcycles have gotten so much worse since the days of R6s and Daytona/Street Triple 675Rs because of emission regulations. And everyone here knows that F1 isn’t even an exception.

I had to give up my bike days too. Just not down to be out of er a soccer mom doesn’t see me. I loved my old R6 though.
I have a feeling I’ll be keeping this one for a while because as much as I loved my AWD twin turbo v6 GTR, this car just hits different. And makes all the fun sounds.

I hope he hangs in well. He is still young and has shown his youth at times while also doing well from the front.
Not sure how hard they will push him with it being a sprint.

Anything on the super clipping front?
You could definitely hear the revs drop through some of the flat out turns which sucks but wasn’t dramatic.

I get the hate for this engine formula and I don’t like it either but this is entertaining

Lots of Yoyoing and Perez's brakes are on fire once again...
