Yep, How do you like Austria?
I know you like Spa from your description

Someone said silverstone will essentially be open throttle from the 5th corner to the end. Clipping and running out of battery will slow the car down without them having to lift or brake. Hope that’s not the case, they have modified the energy usage amounts this weekend I think.

Just saw a quick video talking about it. They say that Hamilton has raised concerns, but I haven't seen that, only Max talking about the simulator being comical.

Can’t stand the idea of clipping and super clipping and all but it hasn’t been too bad this year it seems so I’m hopeful this weekend will be fine too.
Ready for a sprint weekend, hopefully shakes things up in Ferrari’s favor.

Lots of super clipping on the sim games

I'm glad you asked.
Turn 1 is faster than you might think, and it requires a very precise turn-in to get good drive onto the next straight without going off track.
Turn 3 at the top of the hill is easy enough (if you don't overcook it), but still requires precise turn in to get a good launch onto yet another straight.
The Turn 4 tight-but-increasing-radius right turn is the easiest corner on the track.
Turn 6 and Turn 7, the two big curvy left-handers, are kind of blind. Turn 6 is not bad but Turn 7 I think is where a lot of time is lost if you don't take it aggressively, but then you might screw up the right-curving Turn 8.
The right-hand Turn 9 seems easy enough but as soon as you take it you are trying to set up a perfect line through Turn 10 to launch onto the front straight without going off track, and so I think the Turn 9 / Turn 10 complex is the other place where it's easy to lose time.

I love racing at Austria

Racing there was fun but I always found the Red Bull Ring super stressful to qualify at.
I did love driving the old Osterreichring in a 70's era F1 car.
I did a lot of online racing in this sim, it had a lot of historic track configurations and F1 cars from every era:

All right, the predictions for the British GP are now locked. You can see all of the prediction lists here:

After I said this I listened to weekend warm up and read some articles about this weekend and it doesn’t sound like Ferrari will be worth a shite at this track.
Sucks.
About to watch some FP1 and Sprint Qualifying this morning.

Hamilton on top so far, down about 4 seconds from last year

Anything on the super clipping front?
Don't see anything out there post-FP1 yet other than results

No, it wasn’t noticed or talked about on the Sky Sports broadcast.

Sprint Quali will be interesting. Fully expected Merc to run away with it, so I'm surprised both Ferraris are up at the top.
You expect Ham there bc he knows the track like Kim's fat arse at this point, but leclerc being there has gotta be the car.

Didn't really notice a huge drop off on the straights, they aren't really doing power braking through some expected corners.
Unfortunate that removing the super clipping has slowed down the lap times in favor of viewer satisfaction.

Damn, for my prediction this week I demoted Ferrari to 4th best team, and promoted McLaren to 2nd best team...

I completely forgot to update mine so I’m riding with a losing order for sure.
Oh well I’ll go burn some rubber irl to pick up some cracklin and boudin.
