It will not pursue any further sounds like. George did the right thing per the information he was presented but this seems to be a technical screwup by the FIA. So results stand

Just finished. How the hell did they not red flag that.
Thought you couldnt set your fastest laps under double yellow, but sure there are more qualifiers for that.

They must have turned their engines up a notch. George was faster in sector three than Lewis even with a yellow flag lift.

They didn’t show double yellow to George. Neither his monitor nor the Marshall were waving double yellow, just yellow. Sky crew did show that he did lift off when it did show yellow. Why it showed him as just yellow is the issue but seems like they aren’t going to punish him for that

I mean, the head of the FIA is currently trying to turn the organization into a dictatorship and is a dingleberry.
The rally drivers had massive protests against him. The Formula 1 drivers were pissed at him for the no cussing. He inserts himself after races and has been legit acting really creepy towards Antonelli with a lot of weird touching.
And remember, the FIA is not Formula 1. This is just a regulatory official inserting himself where he doesn’t belong. frick him
