They are racing. Max leading and defending hard against the Audi.

And yet there are tons of other, higher quality products on today... F1 tailspin is only going to increase as people realize they don't need their bullshite.

F1 is still wildly popular even if it’s not the best racing. This post more than doubles both the NASCAR and Indy Car threads. On that note we do have a nice double header today with those 2

Most of us, myself included, grew up nascar fans

And a group of maybe 10 of us are driving that with most of the posts prior to the bullshite and/or bashing the bullshite
This thread isn’t being driven by “man, what an awesome season we have going”.

It’s still has a lot more traffic than the others and they are actually racing. Indy racing is a lot of fun right now and it has no traffic

Not saying F1 isn't the most popular still, just that there is currently a lot better racing due to the regs and the more they continue to stumble and do stupid things, the more opportunity for people to get exposed to other, more interesting racing.

F1 heads meeting today to decide on changes to Miami GP… but after that has to go to FIA for approval.

F1 is by far the most popular
Hopefully they fix the regulations in the next cycle

Here is a good video explaining the problems of this year regulations
Really good explanation... I can see why Max is miserable. You aren't driving, you are managing a power plant.
Might as well put the little leafs that the original Ford Hybrids had on the instrument cluster that indicated how much you were saving the environment when driving efficiently.

The FIA has confirmed agreed regulation tweaks from Miami:
- Reduction in recharge limit from 8MJ to 7MJ, plus increase in superclip power to 350kW, both designed to mean less time harvesting and encouraging more flat-out qualifying laps

- Boost capped at +150kW, MGU-K deployment limited to 250kW in some parts of a lap to try and reduce excessive closing speeds
- A new "lower power detection system" developed for race starts that will see automatic MGU-K deployment on slow getaways (to test in Miami)
2/2 #F1

Hope it helps but man all of this is complicated.

I'm too dumb to understand it, but I look forward to seeing how it helps/hurts.
