One of the few times I even watched the 250 race and it was a banger. Great to see Deegan go down a couple of times but credit to him he wasn't a bitch about it in his interview made me respect him more. Then the fantastic 450 race, for Roczen to have a bad gate choice and get a good start and get in front of Hunter early was huge. He didn't buckle under the pressure and Hunter did when Prado got close to him. Kenny definitely deserved the title his bad races this year were totally other people's fault taking him out while Hunter's bad races were his own fault.
Kickstart Kenny the 2026 450 Champion on a Suzuki RM!
I'm ready for the outdoors to start. I wonder if Eli will be able to ride round 1.

If you didn’t watch the post race show/interview, do yourself a favor and go watch it.
Kenny was really honest about his mental struggles and what he has done to overcome them.
It’s very transparent and honest.

Some stats I’ve pulled from Vital.
Oldest champion at 32 years, 0 months, and 10 days old.
Most seasons before winning a championship (13).
Highest number to win a 450SX championship (#94).
Largest comeback in modern Supercross history (31 points down at one point).

You can add having an arm so destroyed he should have never raced again

Dude absolutely deserved it. Best Kenny we have seen and at 32 is amazing.
Such a popular win as well.
Hate it for Hunter but he has lots of chances left.
Cant wait for the outdoor season to get on the gate.

Yeah, Cole was great!
Not only was his pass on Deegan exceptional, it was the right amount of “I remember what you did to me” and “I am not going to try to injure you..”.
Even better was when Deegan came up underneath Davies, and he leaned down hard into him putting him on the track. Showed he was not going to back down from Deegan.

Fox Raceway tomorrow baws. Supercross is cool as hell but I love the hanging your nuts off the handlebars style of outdoors racing. Seems most of the hitters are relatively healthy, let the games begin.

I think the first race is on 30 May….

Are you going to change your thread title to AMA Motocross Outdoors or should we start a new thread?
Posted on 5/23/26 at 12:21 pm to FlyDownTheField83
Dammit, I thought it was today. I am highly disappointed

Changing it. No need for a new thread. I will have more riveting predictions that need to be contained in one thread

The Pro Motocross season starts May 30th. Schedule is below.
This first race is going to answer a lot of questions. Does Deegs have what it takes to take on Jett. Is Jett healed enough to go hard. Did Hunter get enough confidence in Supercross to finally finish off the wins in Motocross
Prado is really a outdoor guy. Can he run with them? Sexton? Is Tomac gonna rebound or is his time over?
Lots of big questions. Cant wait for Saturday

I heard Jett had eleven (11) screws or pins put in the bones in his leg, that sounds pretty scary to me. I love to watch his smooth riding style and ability to up the pace until he drops anyone, but that injury sounded so severe.
I know Prado is faster outdoors, but I still have not seen enough from him to make me think he is a threat to win the championship.
Deegan is also an unknown for me in the 450s.
Would love to see Tomac in the hunt, but Father Time is undefeated.

Very good first moto. Hunter was not losing that. Prado is a threat. No doubt.
Impressed with Jett’s ride as with Deegs. Solid performance
Tough break for Eli. Dude can’t catch a break.

Yeah, I agree 100% with all your comments.
I am a big Tomac fan so I hate to see him crash, …..do you think Marchbanks should have backed off? Or was Tomac being too aggressive?

I don’t think Garret knew he was there until contact. Sucks for Eli and it may be time to hang it up, retreat to Contez and start a training facility with his old man. There’d be a waiting list of candidates

Jett limping like an old man.

Dude that for it's going to take a while to heal and every ride he puts in probably sets him back a little bit. I think most people are shocked that he's out there riding like he is when there's no way that thing is healed yet.
Not a big Deegan fan but that was a another great ride for him. He kept it on two wheels. He did not push too hard and he had a solid finish. I think anyone that thought he was going to jump into the 450s and dominate right off The bat was just kidding themselves. But a solid day for him. Also a solid day for Jett even though he probably was disappointed in that ride. His brother is just better than him right now. There's no other way to say it. Dude is on rails
No change for Sexton. Still can't keep it rubber side down. He'll never be consistent until he gets the spiderwebs out of his head. No way it can be anything else. He just crashes too much.
This is going to be a great outdoor season if these guys can stay healthy. Looking forward to it.
