Yea Mcneese just isn't good enough on the offensive end to keep up.

No team can keep up with any team that’s shooting 71% from 3 and 73% overall.

Not saying that McNeese is great and is the same team as Purdue…I’m just saying that Purdue is hitting everything they throw up and McNeese can’t make a shot. Terrible combo.

Purdue may not have had much overall talent and athleticism as Clemson, but they are much better coached and far more disciplined on both ends of the floor. Painter gets a bad rap for some of their past tournament collapses, but he’s a hell of a coach.

Told a buddy yesterday Purdue is going to steamroll Mcneese. Wade’s teams thrive off athleticism, explosive plays, and active defense, but they get sloppy offensively and can go in scoring droughts. Purdue is to disciplined to let that beat them

What? Clemson was the slowest, least athletic team I’ve seen in a while.

Part of the reason they are shooting that well is how well they are moving the ball to generate open looks. These aren’t miracle fade-aways. A lot of those early threes were wide open set shots after good ball rotations.

They are moving the ball so well on our defense and passing open. They have the size on the inside that we can’t cheat out like we normally do because they’ll just run that pick and roll. No one has run that with kind of success.

There were a couple of hard shots they put away, but that’s what happens when you’re living right, the shots just start to fall.

For sure. Not trying to discredit Purdue at all. They come out firing and everything they’re going is working.

They did, but like you said, that was after they got it going. Those early open looks help guys get warmed up.

Purdue has definitely cooled off a bit over the last 3 mins or so.
