Here we go! Split strategies by the Andrettis. Ericsson on the blacks and Herta on the reds.

The Jack Harvey pit walk has been funny. Good addition by FOX.

Someone tell me why the 26 went black —> black? It appears to be a red race.

Just one caution through nearly two races. Good clean racing, but it can make them processional.

Perfect tire strategy for Palou. The team is completely in sync. I want to see him win at an oval!

I am far from a Palou fan but I think he has a legitimate claim to being the best driver in the world right now .

His reign of dominance over what is supposed to be the most equal and unpredictable top level series in the world hasn’t been seen since Montoya/Zanardi

Thermal needs to get off the schedule. Why is a country club even on the schedule.

I mean country clubs are on the pga tour schedule ? I don’t have an issue with that as much as it should be the spring training venue that culminates with a pre-season exhibition race… like WEC’s prelude round .

This should be the schedule leading up to Indy

1st weekend in Feb (Saturday before Super Bowl) : Prelude at Thermal

Daytona 500 weekend (Saturday): Mexico City GP - season opener

3rd week in Feb: street course in Brazil

1st weekend in March: St Pete

2nd weekend in March: Theoretical Phoenix Scottsdale Street Race

3rd weekend in March: Dallas GP

1st weekend in April: Barber

3rd weekend in April: Long Beach

4th weekend in April: Laguna Seca

Month of May

Some Monday morning thoughts:

Yet another long break before an Indycar race. It's another 20 days until the next race.

I'm certain yesterday's viewership ratings won't be anywhere near St. Pete. You can't really go head-to-head with March Madness.

Kirkwood really plummeted down the stretch. He was running in 4th for most of the race and finished 8th. Rosenqvist may have caught Herta for 4th had there been another lap or two.

Back-to-back top ten finishes for Alexander Rossi! His teammate, Rasmussen, finished 12th. A strong day for ECR.
