Not sure I see something different between Piastri and Norris right now.
Piastri has put himself into positions where he isnt exactly having to fight, he is using the advantage of a faster car a decent strategy. Doing exactly what is expected, but not overperforming. He nearly muffed two starts in a row with Monaco this week.
Lando hasn't done himself any favors, but he recovered finishing 3rd and 4th as his worst positions on the year.
Thinking either of these two drivers have shown dominance over the other is unfounded.

Way to end a career

They are off next week and then his home race in Canada. Will be interesting how long he misses and who they would put in the car.

Hopefully he never comes back

Ha!
I liked Nico on the call. He could see the driver’s performance so much better than I can and called it out how they were handling and how it was affecting their time.

Lando is the better pure driver, why do you think Max targets him so much?
Oscar has made fewer mistakes thus far though
At some point doesn't that mean Lando... isn't... the better pure driver?
In any case, this certainly isn't the Lando Era.

I want my points for picking this turd to finish last!

Felipe Drugovich and Stoffel Vandoorne
are their reserve drivers apparently.
This wrist issue is a lingering thing from his broken wrist from the bike accident before 2023 season.

It will be Drugovich, but I am team Stoffel Waffle 100%
Everyone said he came back too quick there. I have to think this surgery is going to be invasive to clean some stuff up.
The injury that had Norris (I think) ask via DTS "you able to wank yet?"

I think Oscar is more calculated and calmer than Lando but Lando will try some questionable things at time bc he gets emotional. I think Lando pushes the car harder than Oscar.

When Verstappen darted around Oscar and Ichabod (went P3 to P1) in Imola turn 1 your thought was "Oscar is calculated and calm"

I was not speaking of any specific moments just the overall feel of the racers when I watch them.

The strategy guide says Circuit de Catalunya is a high-deg track and a multi-stop race is the only way to go. This is exactly my kind of track!

Unfortunately someone doing a one-stop race is just trying something different. But maybe with high temps there will be more three-stoppers than predicted. I would love to see some two- vs three-stop strategies play out. At some IndyCar tracks (like Barber IIRC), this kind of scenario is common and is awesome because you have no idea who is going to win until late in the race. That never really happens in F1.

It’s usual at this point for us to discuss the best Hail Mary one-stop option – but given the temperatures, the roughness of the asphalt and the sheer energy pouring through the tyres in the long, fast corners, the one-stopper doesn’t really look viable, and Pirelli’s analysis suggests the three-stop is a little bit too slow.

Damn, shitty timing. Didn’t know he was going to race the 24h
Cool feature by Nico on inter-team rivalry. He has a wild story in the sport.

Him and Stoffel Waffle are both in the 24; probably anyone with a superlicense will be there.

Yuki starting from the pit lane, but they didn't say what they changed on the car.
