Kylami?

Cape Town is the most recent proposal I've seen. Kylami is a fun circuit, but probably not great for F1, though Cape Town doesn't look much better.

Last day to update your predictions for the Spanish GP!
Do it!

Seeing a lot of articles about the new front wings due to the revised standards for flexibility.
Might make things interesting this weekend?

I'm hoping the stiffer requirements will slow McLaren down a tenth, so there's a real battle royale with Oscar, Max, and Lando down the stretch.

Let Ferrari in that mix too and I agree.

Last chance, I'm going to lock the predictions at 10:00 pm.

Looks like McLaren is the only team not changing their car this weekend.

Is that because they already introduced their front wing in Imola?
Posted on 5/30/25 at 7:10 am to s14suspense
I think it either that or they only use the flexi wing on certain style tracks and Barcelona isn’t one of them.
Posted on 5/30/25 at 7:30 am to s14suspense
I read they ran it in a free practice at Imola.

Dang, I thought Williams would go well at this track.
I guess it's still more about straight-line speed than high-speed corners.
Who had George really high, Alonso, Hulk, and the VCARBs high, and Williams low, and Haas at the bottom?

I probably shouldn’t have picked Lewis to podium

Really no point in him switching for 2026. He'll stay where he's at, see who nailed the new regulations, and jump in 27 if he needs to.

FP3, some weird numbers. It could be the different programs teams are running and different fuel levels.
a. Oscar clears the field by half a second.
b. Max is almost a full second slower.
c. Hadjar is just 0.007s behind Max.
d. Lewis struggling behind Shaarl is not terribly surprising.
e. Both Saubers are ahead of both Williams and the 2nd Red Bull.
f. Haas is the dead last team.
g. Albon spent most of the session in the garage, so there's nothing to read there.
1 Oscar Piastri 1:12.387
2 Lando Norris +0.526s
3 Charles Leclerc +0.743s
4 George Russell +0.752s
5 Max Verstappen +0.988s
6 Isack Hadjar +0.995s
7 Kimi Antonelli +1.018s
