I legit hate matches like these where it's 2 top players who go more than 3 sets but none of the sets are competitive.

The players might just concede without conceding in a sense those sets in which they lose a break or two so as to conserve energy for the next one.

Med had some traction in that last Sinner service game at 4-3, but the unforced errors cost him. All of Sinner’s points in that game came off of unforced errors from Medvedev.

I told my wife after watching him looking great against Joker in the 2022 QF those first 2 sets this kid is going to be a problem the next times Joker has to play him. But yeah, right now he's playing peak.
