While we're worried about the weather tomorrow, the weather here in Atlanta next w/e is supposed to be beautiful. Sunny and 61 next Sunday.

Final Cup practice and Xfinity Series qualifying both cancelled.

Xfinity Series will attempt to do a single round of qualifying (no second round for the top 10).

I’m guessing it’s looking like a Monday race?

Start of the Xfinity Series race has been moved to 3:30 PM CT today. Starting it 30 minutes earlier than scheduled.

I’m surprised they haven’t announced it yet. There’s not a chance in hell they’re racing tomorrow and that’s been clear for a couple of days.

That's been obvious since last w/e.
65 and sunny here for the race at AMS next Sunday. 42 in the morning. Absolutely perfect!

Steady light rain falling at the track, and looks to continue for a while.

People assume NASCAR racers were always these good Christian family men but they could debauch with the best of ‘em. D.K. Ulrich told the story of when they were both struggling independents and NASCAR made its annual trip up east to Islip, NY, etc., before they cut the schedule, him and Richard Childress partaking of whores in New York City.
Read Smokey Yunick's book to hear some stories about drivers back in the day. Guys like Curtis Turner and Joe Weatherly were off the chain.
Those beauty queens you see in old vids from Darlington and such were getting honed out regularly by the drivers and a number of them knew Linda Vaughn very well.

Glad to see that. I'm flying down there Friday morning.

That’s an open invitation for all of us to come stay with you and go to the race, right?
Will you provide food and alcohol?

If he says yes, I'm bringing my crazy uncle.
