I have updated this charter history chart that I have done over the years to show where each charter came from:

I started a couple season long threads back around 2014-2016 but they just wouldn't keep going. RTR has always been a fan and Tbird used to post about it but he seems long gone

Dodge has stopped making both the Charger and the Challenger, so they don’t really have a car to put out there.

They will reverse this and get away from that electric bullshite. Many manufacturers are already divesting in electric and ramping up R & D in hydrogen internal combustion engines.

but the Clash was awful.

The average "speed" was 32 MPH for fricks sake. That's not a race. If they aren't going to do the Shootout at Daytona then they should pick a grass roots track every year.

If they want to grow the sport they likely do need to go international.

There is plenty of room to grow the sport domestically. It doesn't have to be international. If NASCAR would go back to what made it the #2 attended/watched sport in the world interest in the US would grow exponentially.

The product on the track, the way it's marketed, and who it's marketed to sucks. This has been debated ad nauseum on this board.

3 days to run it on Wednesday. He acted like the teams had plenty of time to wait because they didn’t have to leave for Daytona until Monday/Tuesday of next week.

I know im late to this but I don't know if even the average Finebaum caller from 15 years ago is dumber than the average Sirius/XM NASCAR caller

Why not limit teams to 2 starting cars for cup series races. All cup cars go through qualifying on Friday, top two cars from each are in. Third and fourth team cars race xfinity on Saturday and top 3 finishers get to race cup race on Sunday. Would spread the best drivers out amongst more teams making more teams competitive. Xfinity viewership would go through the roo

The cars are different

Plus Fortune 500 level sponsors don't like the possibility of their huge investment not being in the big show

Those things aside I honestly like the idea it's just not currently feasible
