Don't like Sterlington. I never played them, but I remember my cousin's team played them up there and lost in the Semi. They had the song 'Walking to New Orleans' and on deck for us lol. We had to come back to NO with that song playing. I also did a work project at a plant around there later and experienced brown water for the first time.

then we added John Ehret, Ponchatoula, and Pearl River in nondistrict, they won’t be easy. Holy Cross is elite now, Lakeshore has an elite coach. The easiest game will probably be Booker T. Washington…

I'm glad Lyle got that ring. Crutchfield may not be Nick Saban but He brought multiple championships DTR, it had been while since Buras or Port Sulphur won one. There has always been talent there, but coaching wasn't great. Crutchfield may not fit at other schools the same, but he did fit DTR. Lyle is one of his proteges.

The clock would have started on the snap anyway. They declined the penalty so Sterlington wouldn’t get to replay the down.

In the WM/ASH game they ran it down from 1:47 to 0:21 without ever snapping the ball. Kept jumping offsides and giving them time to run off.

So Sterlington can false start the rest of the time off right? That’s what ASH did against us. I’d do it in a heartbeat if I was Doty. no the offended team can take or decline penalty AND have clock stopped or running under 2 min

I am too. Lyles a great guy and he deserves it
The weird thing to me was the DTR people on Facebook acting like all of BC and north plaq was against them. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve been up here my whole life, and unless it’s rivalry week, I’d guess 95% of the BC people openly support and root for South Plaq. That whole community had a huge chip on their shoulder this whole week, and for what? It was weird to see
I think they were upset that Logansport used BC’s facilities before the semifinal game… which is funny because SP’s coach helped facilitate that
