A muffed punt, dropped kickoffs, and onside kicks can’t be advanced because the receiving team never gained possession of the ball.
If a kick or punt returner fumbles after securing the catch, the ball can be advanced.

I watched some highlights of CHNI vs Calvary Baptist this week. All scoring plays for CHNI throughout the game.
Someone from Calvary Baptist was blowing a train horn before the snap and during the play. Every critical play, even in the 1Q.
Does this happen often now? Is it legal? I asked a buddy who was there and he said it was chicken shite but nobody did anything about it.
I have to think if I had a kid on Calvary Baptist I would have to make sure that kind of stuff didn’t happen. I’ve never seen or heard anything like that before. Would have assumed the officials would have stepped in.
The videos with sound are on Facebook. I mean every single play. It’s all you can hear. Before the snap and after.
