Don’t think he wants to move to Italy. His previous marriage fell apart when he worked in the US, don’t think he leaves the UK again. Rumors I’ve seen is Newey is also done with Christian…I think it’s more likely Jonathan Wheatley takes over as TP, sooner rather than later.

I don't actually think Newey would leave right now. They are a few years into the construction of the RB-17 track car and still a few years away from releasing it. I think this car will be the culmination of his career. Its the successor to the Aston Martin Valkryie.Supposedly they didn't like working with Aston and decided to build their own car from the ground up. would be surprised to see him walk away before the project is completed.

The WhatsApp sponsorship that Mercedes signed is really paying dividends.
"Toto, you wont believe what we have Horner on record saying..."
McLaren sponsor Google refusing to take down the drive with all the messages as well.
Cut throat business.

According to The Sun the broad at the center of all of this has formed a "close relationship" with another senior Red Bull official.
Obviously she was devastated by her close relationship with Racy Spice so was forced to form another.

Spend some time on twitter and say he is not a fan favourite
I do. He's not. F1 did a massive fan survey back in 2021 for their most popular drivers, with over 160k votes. Sainz wasn't even in the top 10.

I do not recognize your name so I have no idea if I should care what you think or not. A lot of awful posters on this board.
O sorry, I didn't realize i was talking to such a well established poster around here. You have impacted this board in your 20 total posts in such a significant way, I'll make sure not to ever question your opinion again.

How is being terrible in qualifying and the race not his fault? Are you claiming that the car was broken or a complete fool who really thinks they put him on an alternate strategy for no reason?
Wait, are you claiming that a a drain cover flying up and damaging his car being his fault? Because that was a huge blow which also resulted in effecting Ferrari in the next race as well, causing them to have to use a different strategy for Sainz, one that was a shot in the dark that never had a chance of paying off. F1 penalized Ferrari/Sainz for having to work on a car that was damaged because of the Las Vegas track not being race ready. No bozo, I'm not blaming that on Sainz.

In my opinion this is all about Max getting out of his contract.
Out of it to get a new restructured contract or actually out of the Red Bull as well?

Seems like him talking with Max and both jumping to Merc would be the smartest play.
This is what nightmares are made of. Last thing I wanna see is Toto with a death grip on the competition again.

Out of RB as the stories are the 2026 in house PU program is not going well.

It just boggles me though at the motivation to try to get away from what is such a good thing. Max, Horner, and Newey are in the definition of dominance right now. They have a chance at history if they can nail 2026 regs again.
Why would a few millionairs sacrifice that for a potential extra million or two right now?

She found someone who had more power and influence than Horner and moved on.

Max is currently at $55m/year while Ham's Ferrari deal is reportedly $100m/year.
Much more than a mil or two.

quote:in the 95 Australian GP, Damon Hill lapped the entire field. TWICE. Much of this was because of so many retirements. Newcomers to F1 don't realize how amazing the reliability is today. In 92 Nigel mansel became the first driver to win 9 races out of 16 and had 4 DNFs. That would be 6 for Max last year. Of the races max didn't win, last year, he finished 5th once and 2nd twice. The field is normally 1-2 sec from first to 20th. That's insane compared to f1 history when teams tried to stay within 5 or 6 secs of pole to just be allowed to race
Has there ever been a car that was as far ahead of the field as RB19 was?
Posted on 3/4/24 at 4:49 pm to UncleFestersLegs
Yeah, the cars used to be grenades. Added a lot more uncertainty to the races.
Frankly, they are not all that stressed anymore as they don't even run anywhere near the mandated RPM limit as they'd burn too much fuel.

That was a guess on my part. And no idea.
I would assume she started flirting with Horner but moved on when she found someone better. Horner may also, as others have said, be paying the price for telling her to shut it down with whoever the other man is.

I’d rather see Toto win than Horner. I’ve always hated that swarmy SOB.

I don’t like either of them really. But there’s no one in there that I hate more than Toto
Ideal scenario is Horner (and Marko too) leave. Max stays and Newey crushes the 26 regs allowing Red Bull to further destroy the moral and spirit of Toto

I love max, but don’t think I could root for him at Merc. Hopefully RBR gets this cleared up soon.
