Some suckage stats from the 24 ChiSox:
They now have a 19 game and running losing streak and had a 14 game losing streak earlier. That's the longest double losing streaks in a single season by any team.
They went 3-22 in the month of June becoming the 6th MLB team to win 3 or fewer games in a month.
The White Sox are farther from 4th place than any other team in MLB is from first place.
They are one of 12 teams in MLB history to win 27 or fewer games through the first 113 games of a season.
Their run differential in -241 The modern record is -349. They are on pace for -346.
Their positional player WAR is -5. That is four times worse than any team since 2000. This pretty much means a random group of Triple A players could've done better.

I’m a Sox fan. Your friend is wrong and dumb for wasting his time at the games. The organization is completely pathetic. I have never been this apathetic about ChiSox baseball my entire life. Haven’t watched a game since May. Luckily fantasy keeps me somewhat connected with what’s going on in the sport.

know it was Frank Thomas' last season with the Sox, but he only played a few dozen games, and none in the post season. Was there any other HOFer on that team?
4 high level starters (1 potential HoFer in Beurhle), a strong bullpen, no weak spot in the lineup, with some strong utility players.
It was a very good baseball team.

tickets have never been cheaper
Embarrassing.

Not looking promising today. Twins take a 4-0 lead in the B2. Flexon at 52 pitches for four outs.
ETA: Royce Lewis goes opposie field and it's 7-0 MIN and still just one out in the B2.

At least they did better than the 1899 Spiders.

White Sox going to their bullpen after 1.2 IP. Not sure how they win this one. 99% chance they hit 20 straight losses.

I don't know how Steve Stone, John Schiffren, Gordon Beckham, Len Kasper, and DJ call and watch this crap every day. The Tigers aren't world beaters, but I'll bet Jason Benetti is glad he got the hell out. As another poster said it'd be glorious if Hawk were still doing games. I'm sure frick would've been spoken on air a few times. They need to bring him back to announce the record breaker if they get there.

If the record is broken it’ll be at the hands of the Cubs

It is over. Sox lose 13-7. Number 20 is in the book. Now 27-87.

FINAL: Minnesota 13 Chicago 7
20 straight losses for the White Sox. Finish season 1-12 vs. the Twins.

The White Sox signed Martin Maldonado to an obscene amount for putting up the WORST, I mean LAST place, offensive and defensive numbers for any position player in MLB
Every position in management should lose their job for that move alone
Im not exaggerating

With the decline in offense, his numbers must be historically bad.
