I was just about to post "Is Mike Piazza backing his Italian squad?" as a joke about how ridiculous it was that he played for them in the WBC eons ago. But because I'm a man who likes to know things, I googled it and, son of a bitch, he's their manager! What a traitor!

So.if Taiwan hangs on here, then Cuba beats Taiwan and Italy defeats The Netherlands, all 5 teams in the pool will finish at 2-2 and tiebreakers will come into play.

Don't like how dudes can flip from country to country each tournament. It should be like international soccer where you can choose whatever country you have ties to, but once you play for that country, you have to stay with it.
