This is hard to watch. Shitty pitching, not making plays in the field and piles and piles of garbage at bats. Moribund is how I would describe the start of this game from the standpoint of the US squad.

Good to see Bard out there - once one of the best young relief aces in the game ruined by pig-headed attempt to turn him into a starter. Ran into the guy at the Nordstrom in North Park Mall Dallas at the height of his career in 2010 - acknowledged my kid for wearing a Sox cap. Nice young fella.
