Med with a nice grinder win over De Minaur, who was frustrating him early. If Med beats Rublev on Wednesday, I am wearing this shirt on Friday.
I saw Neal and Koolhof lost.

Yeah unfortunately it was hard to see much of Med vs De Minaur on tv. They flipped to the night women’s match which was a total blow out. Looks like Medvedev recovered nicely after losing the first set.
I’m settling in for Sinner - Zverev. I have a feeling this might be a pretty good match. Sinner is favored but has had trouble with Zverev in the past, and I feel like Zverev has been in pretty good form. Would be surprised if we don’t get at least 4 sets here regardless of who wins. Both guys playing pretty solidly on serve so far.

Sascha almost always plays well when he is an underdog.

Some huge forehands from Zverev in this game. Sinner was up 40-0 but hit two straight double faults which complicated things.
And there’s the break.
And there’s the break.

Sorry to bitch here, but why have so many tournaments not brought back the towel kids?? It’s ridiculous that players have to walk 60 feet to the towel after every point / every other point, especially since they have the serve clock now. Covid is over. Either up the serve clock to 30 seconds or get the towel kids back on the court.

Sinner breaks.
Yeah, lots of weirdness with the humidity and towels. Zverev seemed to be getting frustrated with Sinner taking a bunch of time to towel off and wipe his hands, but then he had to do the same thing.

Zverev really gave away the momentum there with not being able to consolidate the break of serve. Now Sinner has his nose back in front on serve.

They don’t want anyone else to touch the towels. Satefty….

Zverev with some nice ball-striking to close out that set.

Sinner cramping and this large vagina can’t take advantage

Sinner belongs in the pickleball ranks

Why can't he just drink some pedialyte and do extra work on leg day?

This could be over in short order if Sinner can’t regroup after this set. His legs look shot.
