Yeah Berrettini used to be a threat but he's currently getting blasted by Karate Kid.

At least this hottie is back

I can't imagine winning the FO like Nole did and not celebrating in Paris for at least one night. Dude is a machine

Yep. Berrettini got killed by Karate Kid Sonego and left the court in tears (allegedly). He's a couple of bad performances away from dropping out of the Top 50.

Sir Andy must have decided that he'd rather keep playing local challengers instead of travelling to Germany or the Netherlands. Next up is Nottingham.

If I had found a futures market, I think I would have to take Kokkinakis winning the Nottington Challenger. He's got the game for grass. Maybe that's just me seeing him as Dollar Store Kyrgios.

Speaking of... Kyrgios is finally back in action tomorrow!

Final note. It's not going to happen. But Tiafoe has a chance to jump Khachanov and into the Top 10 if he can win Stuttgart. Would be the first time the US has a pair of Top 10 players since 2012 (Fish/Isner). Tiafoe has been toying with that Top 10 ranking for months now but hasn't been able to pull it off.

eta: Couple of young 19-year old French players that I'm interested in watching in Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Arthur Fils. Especially the 6'7" GiMP with his raw talent and serve.

Had my eye on Fils and broke my rule about not betting on frenchies to put a play on him.

Then I remembered my rule on not betting frenchies was a solid one.

Neither won, but both player pretty well only getting broken once and losing a TB against veteran players. Fils had a tough matchup against low tension limp wrist Mannarino. Perricard did manage to hit 14 aces against Thompson. Not bad for his first main draw match on grass.

Anyone ever figure out if Mannarino is gay? You can't have an IG without a single female pic and be straight right?

I was referencing his literal play style haha. How he holds his racket lose and slaps at the ball. But now that you mention it...

Also. I'm not sure what they show on the main Tennis TV channel. But now that T2 is on Youtube TV, I've been tuning in. It is pretty awesome. They've been showing wrap around live coverage all morning.

Hurk/Watanuki deciding set on right now.

Not gonna lie, the grass court game is refreshing after three months of grindball. Unfortunately, I've turned on Tennis Channel three times today and gotten Thompson/Hijikata every time. The grass looks so clean.

Struff and Foe in the Stuttgart finals tomorrow.

Apparently, the Queens and Halle draws have some big matchups early. Thiem/FAA, Murray/Demon, and Carlos could get Berrettini third round in London. This is the big prep week.

As noted earlier. Tiafoe can jump to #10 with a win vs Struff and the Stuttgart Championship.

Let's go Big Foe!

And he wins. Into the Top 10 with a couple of 250 wins on his belt. Congrats to Tiafoe. He has the potential to be a monster on grass. Big serve, loves to volley, and has a very good backhand slice that he uses to a fault.

I had no idea Venus is still playing. Watching her match today because of Giorgi reasons.

Looks like Khachanov is going to miss the entire grass season with a stress fracture in his back. Said he picked it up in the French Open, must have been during the Djokovic match.

Sucks for him. Missed most grass tournaments last year because of the Russian ban, then missing this year injured.

I had hopes for Fritz and Tiafoe on grass this year. But Fritz looks lost on what should be his best surface, and Tiafoe can't sustain his high level of play. Maybe Sebi Korda can be the great hope for US Men's Tennis this year? Shelton still looks a year or two out.

Djokovic currently around -150 to win Wimbledon, and it doesn't look like anybody can challenge him on grass this year. Berrettini, Tsitsipas, and FAA are spiraling. Kyrgios played 1 match, lost, and is "injured." Carlitos is way to raw on grass. Ruud, Zverev? Nah. Rune is an X-factor but is also young and inexperienced on grass. Maybe Sir Andy Murray can surprise us?

eta: Forgot about Sinner who seems to be made of glass. And Hurk who plays too many TBs and sets to really make a deep run.
