Men's Draw

Novak could have a rematch with Van Assche in his first match.

I know for RG, you do have a chance to get a public allotment if you can stay up all night when they release them.

It’s pretty wild you can refresh the page on the official site all day and wait for resale tickets to pop up. During the day in France there’s decent activity but you have to be extremely quick. Haven’t tried at night yet. I’m expecting a lot less volume but also way less competition. If you need 2+ tix you are basically SOL.

So far I have a Simonne Mathieu ticket for the 28th, which is day 1. It’s the 3rd stadium court I guess. It comes with some weird feature where you can go to Chatrier and sit in vacant seats but you have to get up if the seat holder arrives. You also get access to all outer courts. All of that for 80 euro seems great to me.

My other ticket is June 5th in Lenglen, which is the 4th round. That one is 120 euro. It’s crazy that by Monday everything is on the 3 show courts. Outer courts are juniors, wheelchair, and maybe some doubles. So if you’re getting ground passes, make sure it’s before Monday of week 2. The “tell” is that they only charge you $10 for those and they are available right now.

I know it’s tl;dr and don’t care, but maybe someone will want this info in the future.

As long as you're on the grounds the first week, that is a win. Just have to hope you don't get a complete washout.

Yeah I might do qualies for $10 just to get a feel for the place. You get to watch all the stars practice too if you are into that.

I’m tempted to blow $1K on the final for the hell of it since I know I won’t be back.

Saw a vid circulating of Rafa cutting practice short because of the knee. Not looking good for RG. Wonder if he will go all out on pain meds and tough it out.

I don't think a grand is bad for a GS final. You're guaranteed to see tennis with the roof and have like a 75% chance of an intriguing matchup. Someone like boring Ruud or choker KK could spoil the party, I guess.

That's interesting about Rafa. With no prep, I don't think he will go for broke with pain treatments and meds like he did last year. He is up to +470 on Fanduel.

Love a good Hurka Durka fade. And I always get a kick out of your bet sizing. $20 one day and $1K the next lol

I made the mistake of betting against the mullet a couple of days ago. Not today! +320 winner

And yeah. Hurk should NEVER be a +300 favorite on clay unless it's against an ITF scrub.

Had stupid Ruus to win the 1st and he was up 3-0.

Somebody needs to tell Fritz that he's running out of time to get back into this match.

He’s probably better off losing now. I don’t see how a few more matches would help for RG.

Agreed, he could probably use the rest. Looks like he is still +125 almost across the board to win RG. I threw $100 on Rafa at +500.

Huge upset but Alcaraz will still move to number 1 in ATP rankings I think
