Cerundolo upsets Sinner and Hanfmann keeps rolling with an upset over Rublev.

Hanfmann's already knocked out ATP #6 and #9. Next up is #3 Medvedev or Zverev (Semifinalist last year). Now that my futures bets are dead (because of him), I kind of want to see him run this insane gauntlet.

If chalk holds elsewhere (it won't) then he'll have #5 Tsitsipas in the Semis and #1 Djokovic in the Finals.

Tsitsi and Musetti almost played until 2:00 in the morning and it could have gone another set. Organizers could have easily had them play tomorrow. Oh well, I guess that's why you have a two week event, at least Shitsy can sleep all day tomorrow.

Rain arrives at 5-4 in the 2nd set after Rune won the first.

Nice. Was gonna ask about that.

Now you can put that + more on Rune.

Djokovic will definitely get at least one more slam and probably hold the slam record for decades.

Rune just made Ruud tap out in the third. He won like 30 of the last 40 points. Apparently, Ruud had him on the ropes late in the second. Rune is like 8-1 right now for RG, I bet it drops to like 6-1 if he wins tomorrow. The greek philosopher and Medvedev is next.

Is that Meddy? I guess Holger and Casper mixed it up at RG.

Oh yeah it was some handshake thing between Ruud and Rune.

And yeah that's Med in the first meeting with Shitpants. The "bullshite Russian" saga.

The loss to Ruud last year in the French kicked off a 2-9 stretch for Rune where he couldn't find the court. 0-3 on grass, too. He's playing his arse off since indoor HC season last year, curious if he is due for another drop off.

Wow. I just looked and he’s played 58 matches since the beginning of August, and that’s with a 2-month layoff in Nov/Dec.

That might explain why he has so many mental lapses in matches and keeps going 3 sets.

He's playing well, but I think the cold and rain is making this court play more like a hardcourt.
