Yup. Most fans assume Bubba was suspended for all his actions last year which main thing was the assault of Larson on a live track and even pushing a Nascar official. Even Nascar has revisionist history saying they were same.

Steve Phelps to me yesterday on suspending Elliott: “It would be difficult to have a conversation with Denny or Bubba or someone else and say, ‘Hey, it was not OK for Bubba to do it and it's OK for Chase to do it. … We hate it but it's a call we needed to make.”
Even though I agree Chase needed suspended, that statement makes them the same actions which Bubba was much worse due to all his actions after he wrecked Larson.
So now every wreck that has any intent is a problem for Nascar. If they don’t do something it will have appearance of overdoing Chase to fans.

IndyCar is probably the best racing out there TBH. I really hope it expands to a full 20+ race calendar.

Of all 3 races yesterday Indy was leaps and bounds the best. I only wish they had more races.

Well, Nascar went back to to their roots a few weeks ago to a long lost track. Then goes patriotic at Charlotte. Catered to their core customers.
Now they go woke to really satisfy their core fans. Can’t make this up. Nascar has to approve all paint schemes.

I don't like the scheme but what could they do? Ally is GM's financing arm, so this is a GM scheme. NASCAR isn't going to say no.

Why not? Put a foot down to save the sport. Nascar is not the place to do woke things. Not when you are losimg fans already, and catering to those who aren’t loyal to the sport.

I’m sorry, but going anti-LGBTQ+ is not going to save the sport. I maintain that there’s only a handful of people on either side who give a shite about this stuff. A loud handful, sure, but still only a handful. Most of us are mature enough to tune it out and enjoy watching the cars go vroom.

And that goes back to my last comment about certain people on both sides of this are always wanting to be offended about something.

Not to mention Bowman has been a non-factor in the couple of weeks since he got back. I don't anticipate we'll be seeing much of that scheme during the race anyway.

Ask Bud Light about that. And its not a big deal except they keep rammimg wokeness down our throats it never stops at just one thing. Thats what people are upset about is they won’t stop. Next thing will be a tranny on the car is that ok? They keep pushing this and especially to our kids.
Nascar is the last place to push it.

Maybe it's just me but ever since Hendrick called on Chevy Ross hasn't been running in the top 5 consistently let alone challenging for the lead in any race since.

Bud Light didn’t ram anything anywhere. No one cared or had any idea about Mulvaney’s special can until y’all’s outrage merchant talking head blue checks started crying about it to each other.
