Chastain is running out of friends. He will get no slack going forward and all cars will race him hard even if lap down.
I tried to give him some slack last year but this year he is pissing off a lot of drivers and more of them are talking about his driving on the track. I think he means well but he doesn’t know how to control his aggressive driving. The apologies are starting to run dry with others and it is going to eventually cost him races.

Harvick and Denny will be the two drivers that can handle that
Eh. No one will do crap.
I like what Chastain is doing. To quote Daniel Ricciardo “let’s frick some shite up.” Haha.

This board can't make up their minds on Denny. Y'all whine when he punts someone into the fence then beg for him to when he doesn't.

I like it too. Just saying that only those 2 drivers would do something. NASCAR should be glad chastain is getting them some attention. Other than Kyle Busch not much drama otherwise.

Yup. And his apologies are like Bud trying to apologize only to make it worse. It was stage 1 no reason to knock someone out.
He was a cool watermelon story but now its gone to his head. And what about the racer he took out Mon, that guy and many others are trying to make their own story but Ross ended that.

Meanwhile Kyle Bush manages to take out some cars from the very back of the field. Get used to it. It's been going on since they cranked these vehicles and decided to race them.

And the 15 was racing the 3 for position, so it's not like the 15 was just blocking Chastain for the heck of it.

Lots of chatter about Josh Berry lately. Signed with Harvick’s management company and Brett Griffin of Door Bumper Clear is basically saying he’s going to be in the 4 next year.

Good for him taking advantage of an opportunity.
Easy to root for and a great story.

He should be. Jr has been very high on him for a while now.
Glad he got an opportunity at a top cup ride.

Chase Elliott pts watch ... Chase Briscoe is 16th in the standings and at Briscoe's points pace from the first 11 races, Elliott would need to average 29.5 points a race over the next 15 events to catch him. Elliott is averaging 29.6 pts a race this year.

Problem is if that guy wins a race it goes to the one above him who will have a higher average. And all those in between Chase and Chase can get hot and he has to leapfrog all of them. I say he needs to win to be in.
Cool thing is TV asked Chase in warmup laps if he needed to win or could point in - and Chase was honest and basically said if he pointed in that means he’s not good enough to really go far - and wanted to win his way in.
No idea why some don’t like the guy he is always honest and humble and one of the cleaner drivers.

The white knighting and arse kissing is part of it.
For me it’s Hendrick.
He’s no cleaner than anyone else. He just keeps a low profile when he takes someone out.

I heard that as well. I appreciate the honesty.

This whole Chastain situation reminds me of Keselowski vs the field in the 2014 season.
