Max puts the fricking car so close to the wall in the final hairpin, JFC.

Aston Martin, Ferrari, Mercedes and Alpine look extremely close in long-run pace.
Red Bull seems a step ahead of the rest.

Not as close as he did a couple years back

I'm glad the track organizers listened and moved some of the walls out.

But I mean that’s what makes him who he is, just like all the other great drivers. To the limits at all times essentially

Angela has left Lewis???
Kind of weird timing. You’d think if it was for her to pursue something else, she would leave pre or post season, not at the second race.

Probably got tired of pleasing a hypocrite.

Maybe she was just trying to make enough money to retire and live a sweet life on a villa.
I mean who would really want to do this kind of work for these super demanding alpha type folks long term? Sure you get to travel and see cool places and make boat loads of cash, but eventually that end game looks really sweet compared to bullshite

She’s as SJW as him from what I’ve seen on social media.

The guy is a next level talent and likes to show it. First lap out in practice and he's on the edge while everyone else is just kinda feeling it out.

Apparently she has parlayed her association with Ham into a pretty lucrative business of her own.
She probably figures she doesn't need him anymore.
I know I won't miss Sky forcing shots of her into the telecast.

They say most drivers like to work their way to the edge but Max just goes straight to the limit and then backs it off

The word is he wants to race many more years, but she is ready to build her business and not travel 50 weeks a year.
Sure he will get the pick of a phsyio from her company which he helped build.
I didnt notice, but apparently she wasn't attached to his hip at Bahrain as some sort of trial run for the new physio.

What makes it most impressive is he doesn't ever wad it up while doing this. First lap of FP1 and he's on it.

Can't wait to see how this works out when they go to cold tires. One metric in evaluating drivers is to measure their lap in and lap out performance. This is how you can pass or lose a position to someone close to you on track. The differences between drivers may become more apparent when they start doing their out laps on cold tires.

Not sure that will ever happen.

According to multiple sources, she has a net-worth of around $15 million. Hamilton pays her a salary of $113,079.
