OK wow, now I'm reading that the delay of FP2 is likely to delay FP3 and qualy by 90 minutes each, because of regs..

I was just checking the F1 app to set my clock to wake up for quali, at 2am… they haven’t updated it yet if it is moving.

330 is better for me anyway. At least closer to waking up than going to bed

How many more drain covers do we need to fail for an 8am qualifying start?

Just need the bellagio fountains to malfunction and start squirting on the track

Do they test the drivers for drugs? Because 3 out of 4 of those guys also sell shitty coke to help keep the drivers awake at night.

Had this happened to Hamilton and he had been given a 10 place grid penalty he would never have had this reaction

frickers should watch the TT. You want to talk about insane racing and spectators at the edge of the course.

Yup, that is real racing

I, for one, have no intention of ever attending a race in person, and I’d wager I’m the majority of Americans who watch.

I would love too and plan to do it at some point once SO and I can break from the kids long enough to go to Europe and see a real race. No desire for any of the US tracks at present. Indy has better racing and tracks domestically.

Like Spa, will take 6 months for the organizer to secure next year before offering refunds. Refunds will be face value of Friday night to the original ticket purchaser.

Looks like F1 gave the Thursday night pass holders a $200 voucher to the F1 store. So that is good for a hat and t-shirt.

LOL, frick them.

Tons of alternative measures aside from blocking paying customers from accessing the event.

Class action lawsuit may be appropriate

The F1 talking heads were floating an "agreement with the County" that meant they couldn't ensure clear streets so the fans couldn't stay.

a former colleague of mine- african american fella who has done really well for himself and has subsequently become a huge Lewis fan flew in from Atlanta to see Friday practice , messaged me about what a sham the experience was and how the whole thing has ruined f1 for him.

Told him i would fly him out to Indy GP of Alabama at Barber in my dads plane for the Indycar race this spring to show him what a real Grand Prix is all
about.

I don’t believe he is the only one who feels like this. Big opportunity for Indycar.
