respectfully, that didn't happen. Checo ran way wide entering the first right hander and left 2 cars width which Lewis drove into and actually was slightly ahead. The

I don't think my characteristic fit this scenario, but the FIA view of it did.

They saw hard racing where one person lost bad and the other needed to be penalized to try and even up the loss.

If Lewis had driven up on the curb and slammed into checos right rear tire and spun him i would agree. But for fricks sake look at the gif you posted. The whole track is wide open. If you can't drive in there then just give the points after qualifying and we can all cut our grass on Sunday

I think we are saying the same thing.

Both drivers wanted that part of the track and risked their cars to get it. One lost.

checo ignored it completely and lost it. He didn't realize it until the next corner

Unfortunately Stewards can't note that Checo was already shitting in the race before the contact.

Stewards are old white birds pecking at grasshoppers. My one meeting with SCCA stewards, they all walked out rather than face me with their bullshite decision. I was an 18 year old kid and they were to scared to face me.

Georgie will start right behind max. The odds of a first corner incident are much better than even.

Max has no issues not being in front at the start. His car is so good he can just make it up later in the race.

I have watched that clip so many times and keep seeing Ham was at fault, not sure how so many see it differently. Ham went into corner too fast and that caused him to slide over into Per. All he had to do is let off just a skosh and the hit doesn’t happen, and find a better place to overtake. Per had his wheels about as far over without going into rumble strips so he had nowhere to go, all the “extra” room is on Ham side. This was 100% on Ham.

I hate most of the decisions they make but in this case they got it right.

Honestly at this point I sort of hope Red Bull wins every race this season. It’s never been done before, and may never have a chance to be done again.

I’ll accept all the downvotes

I’m with you its the intruiging aspect of the remainder of season - can one car make win every race in a season. It will add suspense to those races Max doesn’t start on front row or has a bad pit stop and loses lead. Would be a record never to be broken, so I say go for it!
