Dang. Half the reason I like Red Bull is Christian.

Not sure how much Christian would have liked all the hoops you have to jump through at Ferrari.

Christian had no intention of going anywhere, he's a made man with a great car and a great driver and a promising future for the team. Like someone else said, he just used that to shake down Red Bull for a raise.

Head coach of Texas.

Have all the advantages in the world and still fail.

*I really think being in Italy, with the language barrier, is a bit of a drag on them. How many Euros speak it? How many Italians speak English? I have no idea but an engineer moving from England to Italy would definitely be considering it.

And the fans have similar delusions of a return to their glory days.

he's got Adrian Newey. That's why RB is always at the front not Horner

I think that could be a good comp, I'm a UT alum and their resources and geographic advantage compared to the results on the field make no sense.

I think you need a combo of 3 things
1) Ridiculous expectations
2) Meddling by upper management/outside sources
3) Passionate fanbase that is delusional

I think the Steinbrenner Yankee teams of the 2000s might fit this comparison more, the Cowboys seem to also be a good comp with Jerry meddling. I think post saban Bama will create a power vacuum like no other.

Not sure, this seems legit.

I work from home but my company HQ is in New Jersey. And the Teams group chat is going off today about schedule changes, schools being off, etc. due to the smoke coming from these same forest fires.

Admittedly, I'm not 100% sure about the distance from the fires to NJ and the fires to Montreal, but it seems like a legit concern as of now.
