You missed the point, they could have double yellowed it and let the time run out. No sense in red flagging it since there isn't enough time for anyone to get a lap in. If they would have immediately red flagged it, I see the point.
The end result is the same so ott doesn't really matter.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Checo, but he hardly ever can beat Max straight up. He always needs some help from Max misfortune.

Alonso keeps bringing it every race. If the old man had a slightly better car, he'd be vying for the championship.
Ferrari is just not good this year. They may improve during the course of the season, but they are struggling to be relevant at all right now. I doubt Carlos pulls anything out of his arse tomorrow.
George sneaks into 6th. He was previously looking at about 8th or 9th, maybe even 10th. Merc looks like shite this week.
