I'm a Fed fanboy too, but we're pretty much just left with the "beautiful game" consolation to hang our hats on. The calculus would be a little different if Fed closes the 2010 and 2011 US Open semis where he match points against Novak and couldn't convert and 2019 Wimbledon, but it wasn't. The margin is that thin.

Well you would need to suspend the us open as well. They banned Novak too last year

Ok. I couldn’t remember. For some weird reason I thought he signed up for the Cincy tourney last year and if he would have been allowed to sign up for that, I figured he would be allowed to play in the US Open.

Funny there’s a fed or RAFA down voter in here when you guys are accurately saying Novak is the goat. He was legit cheated out of three titles if you count that stupid old bag who acted like she got choked to death at the U.S. Open where he got kicked out of. I don’t think there’s anyone who has faced the adversity that he has and he’s come back to win 2 majors now. In reality he could have 25 majors, a full 4 ahead of RAFA but that’s not how it went. I would’ve love for him to blast the AO but he’s too smart to do that knowing he can come back and win another next year.

I agree that he was cheated out of the Australian and US Opens last year- absolutely ridiculous. But even though he obviously didn’t mean it, any player would’ve been defaulted for hitting the lady that hard in the throat with the ball
