Should’ve been up 3-1. Woof, tough loss.

Are you sure the Capitals are even going to advance?

Rooting for a Western conference team in the central time zone is rough.

Bowness doesn't deserve a goalie like Oettinger

Which is why I refuse to work early mornings. For the next month or so I sure am going to miss Pacific Time Zone though.

I’ve been making excuses to work from home the next day. Tonight will probably be the last Preds game which isn’t terrible news because I’m running out of excuses.

My problem is I like watching all of the playoffs. So even if my team loses I will still watch the rest of the playoffs. I like the competition and drama. So I will still be staying up to 11:30 or so every night. Do I need my head examined?

So you didn't switch allegiances again when the Kings traded Gretzky?

Well, at that point his best days were behind him, but yeah I supported the other teams he was on. Once he retired though, the Kings were who I stuck with.

Fair enough. I remember when Keenan pulled the trigger for him. My dad, cousin, and I went up to the Kiel Center. I went to the team store to buy a photo of him in a Blues jersey. Then he assisted on a Hull goal right as I was desperately trying to get back to my seat. And I was on Cloud 9.

I’m still willing to stay up for elimination games or my team, but I can’t muster the energy for all of them anymore.

I’ve barely caught any of the Kings-Oilers series this year, and most the Wild-Blues games have been runaways so I don’t mind missing the last period of those.

I'm just glad I don't work nights anymore. This is the most I've got to watch the playoffs since 2018. It's nice not having to rely on someone to sneak off to the men's room to take a quick peek of the score on their phone.

That doesn't even look like Papa Tkachuk.

Flames going to a 5 on 3 power play.

I can't wait until this Stars team gets an offensive-minded coach that can take advantage of what this roster has and coming up the ranks
