Please let the Manson deal be true. They don't need another scoring D but Manson is perfect to be that perfect defensive defenseman AND can replace Eric Johnson a year from now. If you get Manson you really just need a second line center/winger.

Forwards Nazem Kadri, (cant afford) Andre Burakovsky (don't care) and Nico Sturm (don't care), defensemen Jack Johnson (last dman easily replcaeable) and goalie Darcy Kuemper (gone) are up for bid.
Kadri in Edmonton would be crazy. Or Tampa. But all signs point to NY.
For the Avs, Manson was the key.
As expected, Claude Giroux to the Sens.

Resigned Nichuskin was huge, knew Kadri was gone, Burakovsky was solid but can’t get everyone back.
EJ doesn’t have too long left so keeping Manson is huge and he does the defending part - still have Byram and Girard. Is Toews up soon?

They have Toews locked down for 2 more seasons. Easily the top D pairing in the league. That D is so deep. Which is why they are feeling they can win again without an elite goalie.

Agreed. Darcy was mediocre most of the playoffs and they only lost 4 games I’ll take the chance.
