This league really is full of morons in charge that has no interest growing the game. Last year, the league decides that no more games can we watched on the app without a subscription. And this year, no more radio broadcasts are available on the app. It's like Bettman intentionally wants to drive fans away to other forms of entertainment as much as possible.

I sure hope the league finds more ways to shove more trashy ads in our face. Just remove the team logos from the jerseys. And cover every inch with more ads. And someone might as well stencil the whole ice with more shitty ads. Just remove all the players and coaches names off the Stanley Cup. And engrave the whole cup with more fricking ads. It's sadly apparent that no amount of money will ever be enough. All these billionaires and millionaires are going to be homeless without all the oversaturated advertising everywhere. Never mind the that there should have been several other alternatives to make up the lost revenue. None of this nonsense benefits the consumer.

The sad thing is, the fake board ads have been in the works for the past 7 years. And are still glitchy as hell now.
They were first tested during the 2016 World Cup Of Hockey. And each network has their own fake ads superimposed over the real ads on the boards. I enjoy watching this game less every year. My eyes are drawn more to the fake ads, that change during the play, than the play on the ice.

Has there ever been a commissioner in any of the 4 major leagues that wasn't universally hated? I can't think of one.
