Bristol has changed the banking of its dirt surface in that it will be progressive banking -- steeper at the top than at the bottom with it flatter at the bottom of banking. It's 16 degrees at bottom to 18 and then 19 degrees. Last year, it was a straight banking of 18-19 degrees

Awful news in the NASCAR/ARCA world today. A David Gilliland Racing (DGR) hauler that was transporting the #17 ARCA car to Phoenix was involved in a horrific accident near Longview, TX this morning. The driver of the hauler, Steve Scotts, was killed.

By the way, the #17 ARCA car driven by Taylor Gray won the ARCA race at Phoenix Friday night. It was that team’s hauler that was involved in the horrific crash that killed the hauler driver.
