Steiner said that Haas should be at the budget cap next year.

Basically all of the teams said it would take several years for the budget cap to start evening out the field. Can always hope it comes a bit quicker.

The amount of updates some teams have brought make me wonder just how closely they can monitor the spending however. And now RB is talking about bringing a new chassis to try and meet the minimum weight.

Rumor has it the new chassis would be due to the current car gaining weight due to the new floor flex rule. It's all conjecture, but certainly raises some eyebrows.

Allegedly Alpine. I figured he would head to Alfa. Ferrari link and close to family.

Danny would of had a nice nice career as the #2 driver at Redbull if his ego didn't get in the way.

I wouldn't have hung around with RBR. The team was all in on Max and RIC was still in top form.

I do think he left Alpine early, but maybe he knew the writing on the wall with the turnover that happened there.

I thought this was funny.

Poor us, inflation has us beat, we are going to have to miss races just to keep the lights on....

Hey look! a new car and 4 extra to let the FIA crash test them.

Trying to control the cost cap might as well be like the US government trying to control rich people sending money to tax havens. Where there's a will (and legal know-how), there's a way.

Would be interesting I see Ric go to Haas since he loves America so much… would make for entertainment for sure.

Hypothetical, but let's say you have Ric go to Haas and Herta somehow gets his super license and on at McLaren. You then have an Americanized Aussie driving for an American team, and an American driving for a British team run by an American. Would be fun.

When will then be now?

This could be an exciting one if Max starts from the back.

This could be spicy. Maybe Ferrari can just do exactly what max does instead of trying to think for themselves

Will be interesting to see just how far up the grid they can both get. Max will have his new non-flex floor that is allegedly what Perez had been running for a few races.

Having a Ferrari PU and Aldo Romero on the car is guaranteed reliability issues.

See Bottass sitting in the shed again.

*Would be good sponsor money for Haas though.
