Monza, Spa, or Silverstone making room for another shitty street circuit is unacceptable. 95% of F1 fans want to keep Spa. It's about money and we've seen what that has done to cfb

Isn't there another reason for Spa maybe getting removed?

I forgot, pretty sure it was in this thread. It wasn't simply to make room for another road course, but something else maybe even out of F1's control or something like that.

The claim from F1 is Spa has poor access and limited availability of amenities.

So in other words, it's all about money.

Yeah let's swap some shitty temporary street circuit in Vegas for one if the oldest most iconic actual racing circuits in F1. Crashville last week in cart should put an end to this shite

Belgium Grand Prix
Date: Sun, Aug 28, 9:00 AM

All you DTS fans, be sure and tune in. I defy you to compare this masterpiece of motor racing with that dumpsterfire of a Miami GP and claim that is the way forward

And yes I'm melting

I'm glad we get to see the new regs on this track at least once.

One of these days I'm going to drive a fast car through radillon and eau rouge.

I have to agree, Miami was not an exciting race.

No matter how much Celebrity, Miami, pomp and circumstance they tried it didn't bore itself out on the track.

Was watching Monoco equivalent to paint drying, yes but with the history I get it was never meant to have cars the size of suburbans trying to pass.

BUT gotta stop the attack on Vegas..cars going over 200mph down LV Strip with sound coming off the buildings. That is one long arse straight away and could be a fun DRS zone.

The asphalt experiment was partly to blame for Miami as well. There was the racing line and that was it.

Maybe F1TV didn’t show any overtakes?

Only 30 at Silverstone seems surprising.

I thought the same thing until I really thought about that race.

Checo alone is probably responsable for half of those as he came from back of the pack after early car issues to finish 2nd. But a lot of the overtakes that made the race memorable all came in the last 10 laps after a yellow flag. Other than Checo, Zhou's first lap crash and Ferrari's strategy screw ups were what kept the race super interesting up until that point. Max was out of contention pretty early because of his own car issues too, so he wasnt pushing for position for most of the race.

Ferrari dominated that race after Max fell back and probably should have finished one-two if they could have stayed out of their own way and strategized tires better for Leclerc.
