If Bummer can wake up going into August and Crochet get a little more consistent, those starters would only need to go like 4 innings

White Sox did bring in Cesar Hernandez and could easily re-sign him in the offseason, so makes some sense.

If I'm the Mets, go after Bryant at the deadline, and hope that Lindor/Baez connection gets Baez to sign with the Mets in the offseason

Madrigal can potentially play short I think. Can’t Hoerner play CF too? I dunno that’s something you figure out. Madrigal may not have a ton of power but he can flat out hit and is good right now
