I haven't looked it up or heard it mentioned but have two U25 riders ever been 1&2 in a GT?

Edit: I was wrong, Geoghegan Hart was 25 when he won the Giro last year.

I forgot that, I was thinking Jai was a couple of years older than he is.

analysis of Carpaz's power up select climbs

He causally did 6.4 w/kg for 30 mins and still couldn't hang with Pog. Dude is just on another level. He is approaching Armstrong levels, who was said to be able to do 6.7 for 30 minutes. Pog is close to that.

I don't actually think we have seen what Pog can do this year. I think stage 20 last year was a true max effort at the end of a GT but he was never really challenged this year. I honestly think he could have won or been VERY close to Wout in the TT had he had something to race for. I think just like JB often did with Lance he was specifically told not to win.

Agreed. Pog still has 1-2% that he can get out of himself before reaching his absolute peak around 27.

Nah, this is kinda the dead period between the tour and the Vuelta excluding Olympic years. Most looking forward to Lombardia, Olympic Rr, and Paris Roubaix. Will probably catch some of the Vuelta as well

With the teams being cut down even further in the Olympics is it not nearly impossible for a breakaway to be contained?

How are you guys watching it. I haven’t looked into how to watch the different Olympic events yet. I doubt all of them will be streamed on youtubeTV basic package.

We ain’t done yet!
2nd page bermp.

Shattered my kneecap bc it has rained every damned day in the Atlanta area this month and I took a corner too fast.

Bike is okay. That’s what counts.

This isn’t gonna be fun

Get well soon that looks "uncomfortable"! The weather is either going to drive me mad or turn me Belgian.

Bodies heal gear doesn't. At the end of last year after the time change I was getting back late and laid it down on a turn that had some sand on it (never seen any there before). I was fine and the bike looked fine but when I got home in the light of the garage I noticed a big abrasion and a rip in one of my less than 3 week old super sexy Lake CX403 shoes. Apparently kangaroo leather isn't Kevlar.

When I got to my LBS to reluctantly order a replacement pair the owner told me Lake has a crash replacement policy which is half off for the first year, but he got on the phone with Lake and they gave me another left shoe gratis.

frick this page 5 shite.

Men’s road race is at 2200 normal people time tomorrow night, 2100 for you mongrels.
Will update post two in the morning to full Olympic cycling schedule although it appears our shite is over quite early before it switches to people flipping over shite and swinging from shite. So if you still need TDF results (which is nobody) you have until the morning to peep em in that post.
And no I will not RA to move to the Olympic forum bc this baby is staying alive for the rest of the season.

Slight hairline fracture on the knee so not as bad as I thought. Dope arse shades of purple and yellow though. Got back on the Emonda today. Feels good.

Down to page 3

I would think Van Art may be the favorite for Gold, with how he looked late in the tour.

Than again there are some big mountains so Pog may be a favorite to win it. What do you guys think?

The last climb is very hard. Almost 5 miles at over 10% average. Remco was calling it "mini Mortirolo." I think it's probably too steep for WVA, but the guy is a freak of nature so who knows. Pogi and Roglic are the betting favorites. I could see Remco winning too if he's healthy and fit.

Yeah I didn’t realize the last climb was so brutal. I would pick Pogacar to win gold. Who knows for bronze and silver
