I really want Micah in the middle.

Paton seems like the guy that will stay away from character concern players, and Parsons has those circling around him. I smell a trade-up for a QB.

For some reason teams are still giving Joe Flacco a job

That’s what my buddy was saying.

I wouldn’t hate getting a Justin Fields if Pat Shurmur wasn’t our OC. Shurmur showed Jack shite last year trying to develop Lock. Noah Fant would straight disappear from games after having a strong 3 catches for 40 yards in the first quarter. It could be Lock but Lock also would find him early. Shurmur’s got to do a better job trying to be innovative.

The game has passed Shurmur by IMO

Running back James White is expected to re-sign with the New England Patriots, per source. It's not done but should be pretty soon. The versatile RB with 25 touchdown catches since 2014 back in the fold for New England.

He’s been long expected to leave. Love Sweet Feet, glad he’s back (seemingly)

Bucs also re-signed Suh 1 year 9 mil

I think it's both. Shurmur is bland but Lock also was bottom 3 in uncatchable passes thrown. He just isn't very good.

Source: The #Cowboys have informed pass-rusher Aldon Smith that they have decided to move on from him after one season. After being reinstated last season following a series of suspensions, Smith had five sacks playing his first NFL games since 2015. He is a free agent.

The hype on his comeback was outrageous at the beginning of the year I think it was Romo who was banging the drum that once he got into shape he was going to be a DPOTY candidate based on what he saw in camp

I think Aldon started strong but by mid October the grind of the NFL season was already getting to him.

Free-agent DT Lawrence Guy and the Patriots are working on finalizing a four-year deal for Guy to remain in New England — pending a physical — per sources.

Another guy who was assumed to be gone re signs in NE.

Guessing part of the 4 year deal includes some void years or cap maneuvering, as that seems a bit long given his age, but he’s been an severely underrated player for the pats for the past few seasons, glad to have him back and hopefully he won’t have to take on so much of the pressure on the run defense with more talent on the line and at LBer

Man this front 7 is gonna be nasty. Especially if the young guys like Uche Wino and Jennings continue to develop

Green Bay and TE Marcedes Lewis reached agreement on a two-year, $8 million deal that includes $4 million in guaranteed money, per source. Lewis will be returning for his 16th season, he’ll be 37 in May, and he still shows no signs of letting up.

In his first 4 games he had 22 tackles, 3 TFL, 4 sacks, and 7 QB hits.
He had only 26 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack, and 7 QB hits in the final 12 games.

Big things were expected after his hot start because the assumption was he was still adjusting after being out of the league for several years. Instead, his production dropped significantly as of the season progressed. I don’t know if he was battling injuries throughout the season, but there’s whispers in the media he still battles his addictions and demons on a daily basis. The combination of those daily battles and the daily grind of an NFL season wore him down.

Still a good blocking TE and great locker room presence. Love that he's back.

Rumors of Aldon Smith landing in Denver. Good rotational pass rusher to be behind Von Miller and Bradley Chubb.

Should absolutely bring him back. He reminds me of a young Jared Cook but with better hands.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler believes the #49ers are "up to something" at quarterback.

He adds: "Rumors persist that Jacksonville quarterback Gardner Minshew II could be in their plans via trade."

For those wondering about the finances of a potential 49ers’ Gardner Minshew acquisition, he has 2 years left on a 6th-round rookie deal. That’d mean salary-cap hits of:

2021: $850k
2022: $965k

Way cheaper than Darnold ($4.8m), and Minshew has been better than Darnold so far
